Any active domain name that is added in a hosting account has a number of records that enable it to perform properly. In the typical case, the name servers (NS records) show the location where the Internet domain is hosted and they're set on the side of the registrar company, but on the lower level there are particular records created through the hosting company such as A (IP address of the website/server), MX (e-mail server), SRV (using a domain name for non-website purposes on a particular port number like Voice-over-IP), etc. By having access to these records and by being able to modify them, you can have your site with company A and your e-mails with company B, for example. This gives you more overall flexibility since you can select the best provider for every one of these services and you don't have to stick to only one company. As soon as you pick a hosting company, you have to make sure that you have access to all DNS records freely as some companies have an extra fee for this function.

Full DNS Management in Shared Hosting

You will have full control over the DNS records of your domain names and subdomains with each of our shared hosting. Through the Hepsia hosting Control Panel, you'll be able to access an easy-to-use tool where you can find all present records or set up new ones with no more than a few clicks. In addition to the default A and MX records, you can set up CNAME, TXT, SRV, and you may even set up private name servers for any domain that's registered with our company. The custom records will offer you a lot of overall flexibility and will enable you to do things such as hosting a subdomain on our servers while the main domain is hosted somewhere else or vice versa, using a third-party e mail service, etc. We are never going to ask for any fees from you to be able to manage the DNS records of your domain names plus the service comes by default with all shared plans.

Full DNS Management in Semi-dedicated Servers

The Linux semi-dedicated plans are controlled through our in-house designed Hepsia hosting CP and one of its features is an easy-to-use DNS records tool where you are able to see all existing records for every single domain or subdomain you host in the account. With simply a few clicks you're going to be able to change any existing record or you can create a new one when you need it for any purpose. This will enable you to select the provider for each individual service - for example, for a given domain you can have the site here, the emails through a second company along with a VOIP service that uses the same Internet domain as a host through a third one. Our system will allow you to modify or set up any kind of records you need - NS, A, MX, CNAME, TXT, SRV, AAAA, and so forth., and we'll never ask for any fee to be able to access and manage these records as other companies may do.
